Understand workspaces and plans

Your account can belong to several workspaces. The workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar decides which people, content, and results you see.

Choose the right workspace

WorkspaceWhat you can do
PersonalCreate and run quizzes without setting up a class or student roster.
CoachingManage named batches and their learners. Batch dates and coaching subject groups are not available yet.
SchoolManage academic years, Classes I–XII, home sections and rosters, then connect sections to subject teaching groups. Selected-student groups support electives.

One account can own multiple schools or coaching institutes. Use the switcher to create another workspace or return to an existing one. Creating a workspace does not move classes, learners, quizzes, or other work from another one.

Plans belong to workspaces

Each workspace has its own plan. A new school or coaching workspace starts on Free, even if another workspace is paid. Owners can open Billing to see the selected workspace's plan and limits.

A learner in more than one class counts once. The owner takes one teacher seat. When a limit is reached, you cannot add more until you upgrade or remove someone. Nothing already in the workspace is removed. A learner trying to join a full workspace is asked to contact their teacher.

Where your work lives

Quizzes holds quiz creation and session history. Responses holds forms and Live Pulse responses. Homework and Exams hold assigned class work. The selected workspace determines which records appear in each area.
